The flexible part of the rod stiffens the treated segment, limiting potential abnormal vertebral motion. The rigid rod portion aims to strongly stabilize the treated vertebrae to promote bony fusion.
Low profile dynamic rods
The whole rod, dynamic and rigid, feature a 6.0 mm diameter, enabling implantation through a percutaneous or open approach.
